English with a touch of Scotland

We offer a great experience to learn English on a one-to-one basis at the teacher’s home in Scotland. We create a personalized learning program for each student while offering a full board service.

The learning experience is designed for young students who want to learn English with a "soft" personalised approach or who are simply looking for a comfortable and safe environment.
The goal is to have students to learn English at the teacher's home, but not with any teacher: an Italian "Prof.". The lessons will also include sessions with an English mother tongue teacher to fine-tune the correct accent.

There is also the chance to book maths lessons in English, learn about French grammar and literature and Art History for an extra fee.

In this environment students will learn English but eat the Italian way.

A comfortable and safe environment

Up to 2 student places are available throughout the year, providing a chance for them to learn English as a second language, experience real dialects, engage in local customs, and enjoy traditional activities in the area. The house is surrounded by fields, woods and natural reserves while being close to the amenities of the town of Alford and Inverurie. It is also located close to the castle trail of West Aberdeenshire.

About me

After many years of teaching foreign languages in secondary and high schools in Milan I moved to Scotland, land of my desires, together with my dog Breeze, my daughter and her husband.

I have been teaching to all levels, from primary schools to high schools, to professional courses and Universities while giving private lessons and preparing students for English and French certifications. I have also helped adults to acquire a confident use of the professional English.

I am very passionate about teaching and I would be happy to help any student/professional to go through the challenging transition of living and working in a different country.

Nowadays being able to speak more than one language is essential for the future professional and personal carrier of our students.
